There will be no visible apparition, but My Spirit will make Himself so real to your spiritual eyes, that you will have a face to face experience. And when you see Him, you will realize you have never really seen Him before. You will say like Job, " I have heard of Thee by the hearing of thine ears, but now my eye seeth Thee ", and like Job, you will repent in dust and ashes. In the light of My purity, it will not be so much 'sin' that you see - as 'self'. You will see pride and self-motives underlying much of what you have done. Lust and self-pity will be discovered in places where you have never suspected them. And you will have to confess that you have known nothing of the Holy Spirit as an indwelling Person...
You know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and yet I ask, Who is living in your body....? Once, you would have said that it is My Holy Spirit, but soon you will see Him. He does not live for self, but always for others. When you become a people who will leave all to follow the Saviour - and forsaking all - you will enter into a life of faith.
As far as you know, you have surrendered all to the One who died for you, but now My Spirit will show you that there is a difference between your surrendered life in My hands and Me living My life in your body.
The book of Acts is not the Acts of the Apostles, but rather - the Acts of My Spirit. The body of Peter and the others became My temples. My Spirit, as a divine person, lived in the bodies of the apostles, even as I lived my earthly life in the body that was born in Bethlehem. And all I ask of you is your will and your body. "I beseech you therefore brethern, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice". I am not asking for service, but rather, sacrifice....
I am a Consuming Fire, and if My Spirit takes possession of your body, then My Life will consume all there is of you .
You sing, "I want to be like Jesus" and yet when you have the offer from the Person who is just like Me - wanting to come and live that life hourly and daily in you, you will find out how unreal you have been. How much there is in you that still wants to live your own life; that shrinks from the sentence of death!
You will now begin to see the meaning of My words, " for whosoever will lose his life for My sake the same shall save it ".
Why do I choose to manifest Myself to you today in this way....? It is because there is a work to be done that only I can do. Now do you know why I told the disciples not to move from Jerusalem until they received the Promise from the Father.... Because - when My Spirit came, they would be witnesses in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Sameria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.
Now My Spirit says, as Jehovah said to Moses, "....I am come down to do it". You will know that I am as Almighty as I am Holy. You think that there is some virtue in your surrender; that you will evangelize this world in your generation. But My Spirit has come, your body will be the temple in which He dwells and through which He works.
I have not come to give you peace, victory, or joy. I have not come to give you any blessing at all.... You will find all that you need as you live and dwell in Me. I have come to put you on a cross; so that I may live in your body for the sake of this lost and dying world.
The trials will come upon you and the attacks of the enemy so great - that flesh and blood will not hold out. At the cross, when the powers of darkness came, every one of My disciples failed - in spite of all their surrenders - their vows -- and their devotion to Me.
And I stood alone.
And in the darkness of these last days of this age, the final contest between Heaven and Hell - for the Kingdoms of this world - you will see only One Person who is sufficient for all these things; and He is the Third Person of the Trinity -living in those whom He has been allowed to indwell.
One by one, He is meeting you, and one by one your wills will be broken, and you will yield to Him on His unconditional terms.... One by one, the glorious realization will come to you that He has entered in. You will be a new people. My Word will become new.
Too often you have watered down My Word to the level of your experience, but now I will bring you up to the level of My Word. My crucifixion was a slow death, and I am dealing with you, until I am free to do My work through you.
But know this one thing - that I will come and I will never fail.... Far greater than anything My visitation will mean to you, is what it will mean to the world.... All will see Me as the One to whom the nations of this world are as a drop in the bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance. On your faces before Me, you will say," Holy Spirit, you have come to rock the world..."
